Thousand Splendid Suns

Khaled Hosseini has accomplished what few authors have achieved mourn me 5 times in the day I took read me his book "A Thousand Splendid Suns." A heartbreakingly poignant story that deals with surprising realism, the drama of life through the eyes of two women.

The back cover says:

"illegitimate daughter of a wealthy businessman, Mariam grows up with her mother in a modest house on the outskirts of Herat. At fifteen, her life changes drastically when her father to marry envĂaa Kabul Rashid, a shoemaker sullen thirty years older than her. Nearly two decades later, Rashid is in the streets of Kabul to Laila, a fifteen year old homeless. When the shoemaker offers shelter under his house, to be shared with Mariam, between the two women began a relationship that had just as profound as that of two sisters, as strong as that of mother and daughter. Despite the age difference and the different experiences that life has in store, the need to address the terrible circumstances that surround them, Mariam and Laila will be forging an unbreakable bond that will give them the strength needed to overcome fear and make room for hope. "

I liked so much that I decided to recommend it to anyone who believes that you like and if someone comes to this, my humble site, which will certainly mean well ;. I hope that this man is famous and win a Nobel Prize, which is best seller and thus make his movie to the book.

Read it, will not be disappointed.
